The CITB health safety and environment test for an operative is a basic requirement for the application or renewal of a CSCS card. When applying for a card, you need to have passed this test within the last 2 years. If you need to book a test appointment please click HERE.

The test is designed to ensure construction workers are able to operate safely within their working environment without putting themselves or other workers at risk. As long as you have good basic knowledge of health and safety within your job role, the test is reasonably straight forward to complete. No writing is required as this is a multiple-choice, touch screen exam.

This test covers most standard construction roles including Labourer, painter and decorator, joiner/woodwork trades, bricklayer, groundwork and many more.
