While the CITB health and safety test has been deemed an "essential service" there are a number of changes that have taken places at the test centres which have had an impact on the delivery of the test, required if you need to apply for or renew a CSCS card.

We will endeavour to keep this page up to date with the latest information regarding the availability of tests, however as government guidance evolves as the pandemic continues, it is not always possible to have the latest information available. Under the latest guidance, we are still expecting disruption to test delivery for the next 6 months. If your CSCS card is due to expire in 3 months or less, we strongly urge you to book your test now.

Latest information for test centres in England

Centres are open as normal and tests can be booked now by clicking HERE. While all the test centres in England are currently open, the number of available appointments has been reduced to ensure safe social distancing can take place when in the centre and while taking your exam. We advise booking your test in advance as premium appointment slots (such as early mornings, after 5pm and weekends) may be in short supply.

What If I need an Earlier test date?

Availability does change. Where local government guidance changes take place, test centres that may have previously been closed or under restricted delivery may be able to allocate additional testing spaces. When this happens we will endeavour to contact customers who have been hit by delays and offer the chance to bring their test forward.
